Wastewaters from tobacco industries (smoke factory or manufacturers of cigarettes) contain moderate concentrations of C0D and B0D5 and moderate to high concentrations of nitrogen, colour and turbidity. Nevertheless, these wastewaters can be effectively treated by either anaerobic or aerobic processes.
BIOTECS AnUp↑-SB anaerobic reactor has been widely and successfully used to treat these kind of wastewaters.
