Pre-Treatment Centres

Attend Ambiental S.A. (Brazil) has developed a highly innovative and unique Pilot Project in the form of a Pre-Treatment Centre, designed to receive and treat the wide range of polluted wastewaters, coming from factories
and other businesses.

The different types of non-domestic wastewaters received in this centre are first subject to careful analysis which helps to select the most appropriate pre-treatment and treatment processes to provide the most efficient approach to disposing of the wastewater in line with environmental legislation. Once treated, the wastewater can then be sent on to the nearby municipal wastewater treatment facility.

The pre-treatment lines and corresponding processes have been designed to treat and remove a wide range of pollutants including solids in general, oils and fats, heavy metals, cyanides, fluorides, sulphates, sulphides, phenols, etc.

BIOTECS designed and developed the various pre-treatment lines required by Attend based on extensive research and consultation. The Centre now showcases state-of-the-art technology with applications combining the very latest physical, chemical, physico-chemical and biological processes.
