For example, in the case of landfill leachate we typically specify a combination of biological processes, preceded and complemented by efficient pre-treatment and then followed by tertiary treatments.
New landfill normally presents high levels of C0D, B0D5 and TDS, while high levels of TKN can be more problematic since it damages the biological process and cause high environmental impact. New landfill leachate also typically contains low levels of heavy metals, as well as other minor components.
